CRF International Conference: Speed, Productivity, Agility

Monday 7th to Wednesday 9th October 2019, Barcelona

In October we will be attending the CRF International Conference in Barcelona. The full theme for this year is Speed, Productivity, Agility – Essentials for Tomorrow’s Disruptive Business Environment, and it is aimed at senior business people, HR leaders and HR specialists seeking solutions to respond to a rapidly changing business context.

What will differentiate the successful organisations of tomorrow and how should they be preparing to get a head start? By taking a multi-faceted view of the drivers of organisation performance, the event will challenge delegates to be radical and imaginative in developing strategies to execute the personal and organisational transformations essential for business continuity.

The JCA team of Jill Pennington, Miriam McCallum and Sharan Sandhu will be running a masterclass on the Monday afternoon, entitled Emotional Intelligence: The key to Agile Leadership and Teams.

More information about our masterclass:

“ The ideology of leadership and management that underpins large scale human organisations today is as limiting to organisational success as the ideology of feudalism was limiting to economic success in the sixteenth and nineteenth centuries” Gary Hamel

This is the era of the Agile Organisation. Agile is often described as a mindset shift in the way we work.  JCA Global, a PSI business, will share how Emotional Intelligence can enable this shift in mindset as well as behaviour. The masterclass will explore the beliefs of both leaders and teams that enable agile ways of working. Expect a deep dive into the topic. This session will run in an agile way with an activity to explore what it means for the individual and the organisation. Delegates will learn how to liberate previously unavailable potential within their organisation and explore what “agile” really means. We will look at how it can change attitudes, feelings and behaviour so that people collaborate more effectively, feel more empowered, and can be more innovative. Ultimately creating competitive advantage.
