JCA Global has today announced that it has appointed leading psychometrician Professor Dave Bartram, as chief research officer, a newly created external advisory role within the company. This new hire underlines the business’ continuing focus on developing its world class product portfolio, combining the power of behavioural science with innovative technology through extensive research. Bartram will be responsible for shaping the EI research agenda, and expanding the international reach and language accessibility of the Emotional Intelligence Profile (EIP3) predictive tools.
Bartram joins from CEB’s SHL Talent Measurement Solutions, where he held the position of chief psychologist. He joins JCA Global with a wealth of experience in the assessment, selection and development process of people within a business, as well as having worked in both academic and commercial environments during his career.
Commenting on his new role, Bartram said: “I am very excited to be part of JCA Global, and to expand on its already award-winning, industry-recognised Emotional Intelligence (EI) solutions and offering.
“I strongly believe in the business’ culture and ethos and look forward to working alongside organisations that place a key emphasis on scientific rigour in the application of measurement procedures.”
John Cooper, CEO, added: “We are delighted to have Dave on board as our new chief research officer. Our research & development department has been expanding for some time now – we brought in a new product director, Dan Hughes, earlier this year to lead the team. Dave will be an excellent addition with his vast expertise and knowledge and we look forward to developing JCA Global’s EI offering even further.”
